On November 21st, EuCARE proudly hosted the CCB Networking Session at the Demystifying Long COVID meeting. This high-level event provided the perfect platform to foster collaborations among Long COVID cohorts and explore new opportunities for impactful research. 🌍✨
The Demystifying Long COVID International Conference 2024 was held on 21 – 22 November 2024 in Barcelona, Spain. This conference aims to raise awareness, clarify misconceptions, promote understanding, and stimulate discussion amongst healthcare professionals, investigators, policymakers, and community representatives on the clinical manifestations, management, plausible preventive and therapeutic options, and public health challenges related to Long COVID (or post-acute sequelae of COVID-19).
Lorenzo Maria Canziani, from the ID-CARE Team at the University of Verona, presented the Cohort Coordination Board (CCB) and Giulia Marchetti, a EuCARE partner from ASST Santi Paolo e Carlo presented the EuCARE Post-COVID study and Long COVID Working Group.
The session generated significant interest, with several exciting collaborations already in discussion. Together, we’re shaping the future of Long COVID research and public health innovation.
