For the second consecutive year, a session from the EuCARE Project was held on the Arevir Meeting in Cologne, Germany on 28 April 2023. It was a great session with presentations and discussions showing the highest level of expertise, mixed with a very friendly environment.
There were many excellent presentations, illustrating the progress of the project. The session started with an overview of the project that was done by the project coordinator Francesca Incardona. Afterwards, there were 3 presentations regarding the EuCARE schools study (WP4) given by Italy, Portugal and Mexico focal points.
Another interesting presentation was on the use of robotic automation as a support in SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Before the coffee break, the last presentation was about the progression of WP5.
The second part of the session started with a presentation of preliminary results from the WP3 hospitalized cohort, followed by a presentation of the factors that could be predictive of post-COVID conditions in the EuCARE cohort. Finally, the session ended with a presentation from WP2 referring to the response of neutralizing antibodies to the 4th dose of Pfizer vaccine in a long-term care facility.
These presentations were followed by an interesting and dynamic discussion, where results were critically discussed and where new insights were introduced.
You can find below some captured moments of this session.
