We are proud to share that our study, “Risk of Long COVID Symptoms and Conditions After SARS-CoV-2 Compared to Other Respiratory Viral Infections: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis”, was presented as a poster at the Nordic HIV & Virology Conference 2025.
The research highlights:
✅ Higher risk of long-term symptoms such as pulmonary embolism, fatigue, abnormal breathing, brain fog, palpitations, and heart rate abnormalities after SARS-CoV-2 infection compared to other respiratory viruses.
✅ For other symptoms, the differences remain inconclusive, showing the need for more research to distinguish Long COVID from other post-acute infection syndromes.
This study represents an important step in deepening our understanding of post-COVID conditions and their unique impact on global health.
