The EuCARE clinical cohorts have enrolled overall more than 44.000 patients

The clinical cohorts studies have been set up to evaluate the association between circulating SARS-CoV-2 variants and the risk of developing short, mid and long-term clinical outcomes.

The EuCARE partners, until now, enrolled a total of 44,260 patients and Health Care Workers.

The EuCARE laboratory network performs the required virological and immunological assays to answer the key questions on SARS-CoV-2 variants, including the issues of escape from vaccination or natural immunization with another variant and that of detectability by specific diagnostic systems.

Overall 7783 samples have been collected and are available for these studies in EuCARE.
